Is laminate flooring waterproof?

Laminate flooring is water-resistant, not fully waterproof. For bathrooms or wet areas, we recommend our range of vinyl flooring, which is 100% waterproof.

If your order arrives damaged, sign for it as “damaged” and let us know within 48 hours - Send clear photos or videos — we’ll replace or refund quickly, and you won’t need to return the damaged packs.

Most laminate and vinyl floors can be walked on immediately after fitting. Some engineered wood floors may need a short settling time — your installer can advise.
